"I was reminded once again today why I volunteer. I was sent out for the DAT to Noel,my second fire for that area. About the time I had got everything in order(I hope), I was continuing with a talk with the people whom I was there to help. Cathy said "I am going to report you",to your supervisor............for being such a good person and helping us out like you have. It floored me with emotion for the gratitude she showed. I said that she did not have to,that that was what I am here for. The appreciation is more than one could ask for. Serving as a Volunteer for the RED CROSS. That is why I VOLUNTEER!!"
