
2007 Heroes Honored
The American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter and KY3 recognized this year�s Everyday Heroes at the Oasis Convention Center on March 14 while enjoying breakfast and an awards program. This year's breakfast was underwritten by Great Southern.
More than 100 nominations were received, and 15 were chosen to be recognized this year.

More than 500 Ozark area residents celebrated the achievements of these heroes. This year's event raised about $30,000 for local Red Cross programs.
The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters, and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. This is done through the simple, yet powerful process of one person putting his or her needs aside to help another. Across the nation, more than one million Red Cross volunteers do this each day.
