5th Annual Everyday Heroes Announcement


The American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter and KY3 are proud to announce this year�s Everyday Heroes.

More than 100 nominations were received, and out of those, only 10 were chosen as honorees for the 5th Annual Everyday Heroes breakfast and awards ceremony.

This year�s heroes include:

Adult Donna Willoughby, Springfield
Community Justice/Law Enforcement/Woodruff Bob Stewart, Cotter, Arkansas
Education Kevin Huffman, Springfield
Family Mike and Linda Cheek, Springfield
Firefighter David Hall, Rogersville
Industrial Safety John Bullard, Springfield
Lifetime Achievement David Eslick, Springfield
Medical/Rescue Jim Lawrence, Springfield
Military Kevin Collier, Springfield
Youth Matt Gravelin, Springfield

The breakfast and awards ceremony will be held at the Oasis Inn and Convention Center in Springfield Tuesday, March 15th at 7:30 a.m. This year's breakfast is sponsored by Liberty Bank, the rising star in southwest Missouri. Reservations are $30 per person and open to the public thru March 1st. To make reservations, call Kittie at 417-832-9500, ext. 36.

The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters, and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. This is done through the simple, yet powerful process of one person putting his or her needs aside to help another. Across the nation, more than one million Red Cross volunteers do this each day.
