Lifeguard Training NOW!

It may still be cool outsidebut The American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter is preparing for summer! As the preferred Lifeguard instructor, the American Red Cross can provide students with the knowledge and training to prevent water and heat related injuriesand save a life!

Lifeguarding Classes are forming now. Many area Parks and Recreation departments, country clubs, water parks and neighborhood associations will start hiring lifeguards in March. But, since most people dont start thinking about taking a dip in a cool pool on a hot summers day until late spring, many of these organizations are scrambling for help up to the last minute.

You can get a head start and have the upper hand when it comes to getting a lifeguarding job if you are already a certified lifeguard in March!

To learn more about becoming a certified Lifeguard, contact your American Red Cross at 417-832-9500 or click here. Lifeguarding
