Please note the following information regarding registration of Health and Safety courses:
- PAYMENT IS DUE UPON REGISTRATION
COURSE REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:
- REFUNDS less $5.00 administration fee will be provided with notice of cancellation 48 hours prior to class.
- If you need to reschedule a course, students may transfer one time at no additional charge. Each additional transfer is $5.00
- Students who do not cancel within 24 hours before the scheduled class will be assessed a $15.00 fee.
- Refunds will not be given to students who do not pass or quit. Students may retake the same class at no additional charge.
- Businesses billed for employees will also be assessed these fees for employees who are NO SHOWS and/or multiple transfers.
CLASS INFORMATION:
- 100% attendance is mandatory for certification. Late arrivals are not permitted.
- Classes scheduled for the entire day include a 30 minute lunch break.
- Online registration includes transaction fees.
Lifeguarding and Instructor Classes: Students who do not pass the precourse skills test may receive a refund, minus a $25.00 fee upon return of course materials.
Weather Related Cancellations:
- It is rare that classes cancel, however if inclement weather leads to the closure of Springfield Public Schools, American Red Cross Classes will also be canceled.
- Tune to your local television and radio channels for cancellations.
Minimum Enrollments:
- The American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter bases classes on a cost recovery formula. This formula is based on a minimum of 6 students, if the minimum is not met classes are subject to cancellation.
Lost Card Fee:
- There will be a $7.00 processing fee for replacement cards, per student.
