The money raised will enable our volunteers to be trained and equipped while responding to single family fires in Barton, Newton and Jasper counties, or responding to floods, tornadoes, and other local disasters within our community. It will also provide resources to teach Disaster Preparedness classes for our community and businesses as well as Fire Safety to children in our schools.
These funds will allow us to bring life saving skills, like First Aid and CPR, to residents in our communities. And to train young girls and boys to be certified babysitters or lifeguards.
