Attention Lifeguards: Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional skill standards changed in 2001. All recertifying lifeguards will be tested to the new standards:

• Lifeguards who have not trained in the new material must purchase a current manual with the new standards when registering for the class ($35.00)
• Please study this manual for the written test and practice each skill as outlined in the skill sheets.
• Those unable to pass all written and skills tests will be required to take the entire lifeguarding class to recertify.
• Students must be able to perform skills and pass written tests without help or coaching.

Length: 5 class meetings, total of 18 hours

Time: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (two meetings begin at 5:30 p.m.)
